FAQs

How soon can I receive my new Bell Putter?

Most orders for Bell Putters are shipped the next business day following confirmed payment.  Typical delivery with UPS Ground is 3 to 5 days following payment.  We typically ship from 5 to 15 putters daily so we maintain the needed inventory to support our commitment to fast shipping.

How much is shipping on Bell Putters and Grip orders?

We charge $12.95 on all Bell Putters and orders regardless of size or amount of purchase shipped to the United States including Alaska and Hawaii.

For Bell Putters shipped outside the United States the shipping charge is $75.00.  We have sold putters to countries all over the world.  More common destinations are Canada, Australia, Germany, Sweden and the United Kingdom along with many other countries.  Shipping to outside the United States is typically done with the United States Post Office (USPS).

Recommended Long Putter Length?

We are often asked about putter length on Long Face-On "Broomstick" Putters and Side Saddle putters.  Generally most golfers at Six foot tall often purchase putters at 46" to 47" lengths.

How are the Bell Putters manufactured?

Each putter clubhead is precision milled in a CNC tool and die machining shop in Nebraska. Custom putters are then finished to the desired polished or matte finish. We assemble our putters with various steel shafts and Winn, Tacki-Mac or SuperStroke putter grips to the desired customer specifications. We inspect all aspects of each putter on multiple times during milling, finishing and assembly.

Are any Bell Putters made in Asia or outside the USA?

Absolutely Not! All aspects of the manufacturing process are performed in Nebraska.  Most OEM golf companies use Asian plants to fabricate their putters.

Are your Bell Putters cast or milled?

Absolutely all Bell Putters are 100% CNC precision milled from 303 stainless steel 12 foot sticks here in Nebraska. There are only a few custom golf putter companies in the United States who mill putters here in the USA. Virtually all OEM golf companies sell putters cast in Asian steel plants. We strive to be different and better.

Who is Bell Putters?

Bell Putters is owned by Dave Bell who began experimenting with putter designs and prototypes beginning in 1988. The putter models displayed here are the result of research and customer feedback over many years. Dave has a life-long passion for designing and building golf putters.

Does Bell Putters clone or copy other models?

We work on original designs only. Over 30 years we have seen lots of fads in the golf industry and especially with putter design.  But golfers are all different and our putters fill a niche for the discerning golfer.
